It's Raining, It's Pouring

On Wednesday, Holden's Preschool class traveled to the North Georgia Mountains to the famous Burt's Pumpkin Farm. Little did we know it was going to rain. It has not rained in weeks, even months, but today of course it rained buckets! This is also the first time I was leaving Rylan so I was already a nervous but then the rain just made me even more nervous. After making the hour drive to the pumpkin farm, the kids were so excited and acted like they had never seen rain before-they LOVED IT!!! Everyone was jumping in puddles, riding on a wet hayride and running around the pumpkins. It was a sight to see the kids so happy! After picking out pumpkins, we opted not to do the picnic lunch, as if we were not wet enough, but to meet at McDonald's in Dawsonville. I think this was the highlight, especially for all the boys since the toy in the Happy Meal was Superman (Holden has slept with him ever since). Even though we were soaked and my hair looked like something out of an 80's band, it was a great time had by all! And Rylan had a great time too.
