Pirates, Horses and Fireworks all in the same day!!

Since last summer the boys have been talking about the pirate ship we went on in South Padre Island. So when we decided to go to Hilton Head this year, I knew I had to find a pirate ship for us to ride. As luck would have it, I found Pirates of Hilton Head!!! This year the boys wanted to dress up as pirates and so they did. Before we boarded the ship, Holden and Rylan had their faces painted, tattoos placed on their arms, and swords placed in their hands, just like real pirates! This pirate ship was a little different from the one in South Padre but just as much fun! I do believe the highlight was shooting Stinky Pete on his boat with the water canons! After defeating Stinky Pete our pirates were able to get the treasure map and find the treasure in the middle of the ocean! A pirates delight!

Once we finished sailing on the Black Dagger and veiwing the lighthouse, we drove over to the Lawton Stables for a little pony ride. Rylan loves horses and we could not pass up the opportunity for him to ride. Just look at this sweet smile and you will know why we planned this adventure!

There were several horses on this property and Holden found one that just loved him and actually gave him a kiss! He laughed all day about it.

That night we went over to Shelter Cove for Shannon Tanner, who sings fun island music and is very kid friendly, Holden and Rylan both loved it. They were singing and dancing the night away plus, I think the snow cones helped add to the fun. We topped off of fun adventure day with fireworks! As the boys were going to bed, they said, "We loved everything today!" Just what we wanted to hear!
