Lemonade Stand Part II

Thursday we held our second Lemonade Stand. Our neighbor Kirsten made flyer's, we made tons of goodies and of course lemonade. You will not believe this but Kirsten actually made most of the goodies! Such a sweet girl and really such a great group of kids. Holden enjoyed filling the glasses while Rylan enjoyed collecting the money! So are you wondering just how much we collected? $167.55!!! All of which is being donated to the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House!

I am trying to organize all the kids going this week to donate the money but this school starting the following week it may just end up being a couple of us but I do believe that the kids learned that it is better to give than to receive. Not only did they learn life lessons, they had such a wonderful time preparing goodies, making posters, and spending time with friends and isn't that what resonates the meaning of giving back the most.

Awesome! I can't wait for Mills to have a lemonade stand. Of course, his new playset has a clubhouse with an awning and barstools, perfect for selling lemonade to all of these thirsty golfers. Although, he is still quite a bit young for it, and HOPEFULLY, we won't be here by the time he is! :)
