Annual trip to Fall on the Farm

Finally on Sunday the skies were blue, the sun was shining, and it was time for some fun on the farm. One of our favorite fall activities is Blooms & Berries Fall on the Farm. Not only do they have a great variety of pumpkins but they have tons of activities for the kids. The tube slide with was a huge hit, the straw maze, notice Rylan's John Deere hat that is way too small! He will not give up his favorite hat, even if it does not fit!

Then there is their famous corn maze! This year they had a scavenger hunt within the corn maze that you had to solve to get a prize. Just look at these three, so much alike. Like father and his sons.

The boys loved playing in the corn box. I really should get one of these for our yard. The boys both played and played. Then there were farm games galore. With the rain and cold temperatures the sunflower field had not bloomed. I was totally bummed! I had been looking forward to this beautiful scene all year! I asked one of the workers when they expected the field to be in total bloom and they said later this week. I am thinking the boys and I might just have to take a trip back later this week to walk the sunflower maze.

We ended our day on the farm with a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. Where we all found great pumpkins to add to our collection. We have plans to visit two new farms this fall but so far Blooms & Berries Fall on the Farm is one of our family favorite fall traditions!
