Our final birthday celebration

The last of our birthday celebrations was this weekend. Kevin's parents, aka Grammy and Daddy, came in town to help celebrate. Kevin is not much for birthdays, especially his, so we did not plan much. We did however, escape on Friday night to dinner, with no kids! We were in a rush to get out of the house before someone started crying so no pictures but it was nice to just get away for a bit. We are grateful that Grammy and Dad-Daddy were able to babysit for us. Saturday morning we were up and headed to football as usual. I know the grandparents got a kick out of the tunnel and game. However, they did not enjoy the cold temperatures. It was in the 40's. I am not looking forward to winter!

After the game we had originally planned to go to a farm for some fall fun but the temperatures were just too cold. Instead, the birthday boy was craving a cheeseburger from a local diner. After lunch we walked around downtown and even treated the boys to a cookie at Busken Bakery.

That night we watched football and celebrated with cake. Two of Kevin's loves. Sadako and I made carrot cake for the birthday boy and some cookies for the other little boys. As you can see they could not wait to eat the cake.
Here is to a wonderful year ahead with lots of love, laughter, happiness, health and joy. Happy Birthday Kevin! We love you!
