Christmas 2013

I can not believe that Christmas has come and gone already.  Kevin's parents and sister came to visit and celebrate with us.  Here's a recap of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve, we spent most of the morning baking and decorating cookies for Santa.  Dad-Daddy, Grammy and Jen-Jen decorated cookies as well.

I think Grammy was trying to compete with Dad-Daddy with her decorating skills.  Holden and Rylan made several cookies, and sampled several too.
We also made reindeer food to leave out for Santa's reindeers.

We all went to Christmas Eve service at our church.  It was a beautiful candlelight service and thankfully, we did not catch the church on fire!

We came home and set out the reindeer food and cookies for Santa.  Leyton was tired so I got him in his Christmas pajamas earlier than the other boys so I could take some pictures….oh and he was hamming it up!

Just look at this precious boy!  He has started walking some and it is just the cutest walk ever.

Once everyone was tucked in bed, Santa came to fill the stockings and deliver gifts for the boys.

As you can imagine, Christmas morning was so much fun.

Leyton LOVED his new truck!

Holden loved his LSU jersey,

and Rylan loved his "real" tools.

A little background on the LSU gear is for some reason Holden has become obsessed LSU.  It all began this summer when we watched the Baseball College World Series.  He liked the pitcher, Chris Cotton and when football season rolled around he started cheering for them too.  Yes, he is going against the grain.  And you may wonder who  #11 is for LSU, heck if I know.  However,  11 is Holden number in football here and Santa was able to find it.

Christmas was spent playing and enjoying their new toys.

I wanted to get a picture of all of the boys under the tree in their Christmas pajamas on Christmas Day but Holden ended up getting sick so we had a redo the next night.

A little late but Merry Christmas!
