Baseball season has come to a close.
Holden's last baseball game was last weekend. It was perfect timing since his Aunt Jen was in town, she was able to see him play. The last tournament was the Wild West Championship at Woodside Ranch. The first game, Holden was brought in to pitch with the bases loaded and no outs! Talk about pressure!
But Holden was able to deliver three outs with three batters. He was so excited! Aunt Jen was cheering pretty loud! As timing would have it, Holden was first at bat. With two strikes already on him, he delivers a line drive one hopper hit to the fence.
We were hopping for a home run but he got a triple. Same with game 2 a walk and then another big triple hit. Such exciting games.
Sunday Jen had to fly back to Atlanta and missed Holden's third game.
The Rays ended up losing but they had a great final game and loved hanging out together after. As you can see, Rylan and Leyton are apart of the team as well.
I have to say from the beginning of the season until now, Holden improved so much. Not just with his baseball skills but with his confidence. I honestly think he preforms best under pressure. This season was filled with such great memories and friendships. All of the players and families treat our boys with so much love. Holden has made some great friends, I only wish that they lived closer. To end the season, one of Holden's teammates had a pool party and all of the boys were able to attend. Nothing like celebrating a great season with friends, swimming, and cake.
As this season closes out, I think we can all look back and say it was a great one. Until next season...Go Rays.
