Happy New Year!!

It is hard to believe that it is the beginning of a new year already!  I feel like we just celebrated Thanksgiving last week.   Kevin was off on New Years Eve so we made a full day of it.  Earlier in the morning we went sledding at our new favorite sledding hill.  Since this is the same snow from a couple of days ago, the sledding hill was super slick and fast!  Kevin and Rylan raced a few times while Holden snowboarded.

Once we had our fill of sledding we packed it up and went ice skating at our local ice skating rink.  The boys gave Kevin ice skates for Christmas and even though he was a little shaky, he did pretty well.

We trade off skating with Leyton who is still learning but is getting there.

Holden and Rylan where skating like crazy.  It was lots of fun with these little guys.  And as if that was not enough, when we got home from the ice skating rink, the boys went to finishing building their snow forts.

We celebrated New Years Eve with kids champagne, pie and these little guys.

We decided after a full day of sledding, ice skating and playing in the snow that staying up until midnight was overrated and did our own countdown around 7:30.

Nothing too exciting but it sure was a fun day together.

Now that a new year has begun, we have our resolutions/plans to make 2016 an intentional year with relationships, experiences and time together.  Our wish for 2016 includes a year filled with love, laughter, health, happiness, peace and lots of new adventures in the new year.  Here's to making some wonderful memories in the year ahead!  Happy New Year!
