Little kickers

Monday morning are pretty busy around here.  Leyton has gymnastics and then soccer "Little Kickers".  This is his first soccer class and he seems to be enjoying it.  Honestly, as long as he is running around, he is a pretty happy boy.

However, this class focuses on learning the skills of soccer and the director of the class is really great with the kids so it is a win for everyone.

They work on foot skills, passing, shooting, and running!

Leyton is all about making a goal!

However when he caught me taking pictures, this is the attitude I received.....

Ahh, life with a 4 year old.

As you can see, Leyton is having a lot of fun learning to play soccer this spring.

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day Weekend was filled with lacrosse games, baseball games and some sweet school made gifts.

Saturday morning Holden had a lacrosse game.   Leyton and I stayed back to watch him while Kevin and Rylan headed to Rylan's first baseball tournament of the season.  Oh the excitement on Saturday morning.

Holden played a little too aggressive and spent some time in the penalty box, which was well deserved.  Once he composed himself,  he was able to go back into the game and scored two goals.

His team pilled out another win.

After the game, the three of us headed to Janesville to cheer for Rylan.  We got there just in time!

Rylan ended up pitching.  He looked so grown up and did amazing!!

We were so proud!  Rylan made a couple of plays and had a couple of good hits as well.

Rylan's team played three games on Saturday.  They won 2 games and lost 1 which meant, they played more games on Sunday.

I stayed back again for Holden's lacrosse game and baseball practice.  Rylan's team ended up playing 3 games and for the championship.  After two extra innings, the T-Cats came up one run short.  However, they were all smiles despite the loss.  Rylan was so excited.

As far as Mother's Day, the kids made me some homemade cards and art projects.  Oh, and I almost forgot, Rylan went to a garage sale and bought me a girls lacrosse stick. He was so excited about his find that he gave it to me on Thursday.  It just was one of those weekends filled with games and running around but that is just the season of life we are in so we are just embracing the "busy".
