A soccer star!

Rylan has really taken to soccer.

Perhaps it is all the running, because we all know he is a little energizer bunny.  Since this is his first time to play he has caught on pretty quick.  He really defends the ball without hesitation and is quite aggressive, which was not a surprise.

Before the game Rylan said, "Momma, did you know you can trip people in soccer and its ok."  Hmmm, I think we may need to go over the rules of soccer a bit more.

Our little cheering team…Go Blue Beast!

And as you can see, Rylan just keeps going, and going, and going….

But best of all, our little soccer star is having a blast playing.  So much that we have already signed up for Fall.

Everyday Joys {Week 18}

This weeks everyday joys…..

Little League has got to be the cutest age for baseball.  Just look at these little guys… {April 30}

Holden had a school field trip to the farm.  I could not chaperone, however, a friend of mine sent me this picture of Holden without a message.  I then sent it to Kevin with a note, "Your son".  He responded saying, " Look on the bright side, at least they are not fishing him from the pond."  TRUE!  Holden is such a country boy and had the best time, even if I could not share the experience with him.  And the mud, well, it was all part of the experience.  {May 1}

The perfect springtime dessert.  {May 2}

For the past two days Rylan has sat and watched the "Worker Men" build our neighbors porch with his tools right beside him.  {In hopes that they ask him to help build}  He is a little guy with a building dream.  {May 3}

Leyton's first watercolor painting experience.  Verdict:  I think he likes it.  {May 4}

We were not even home two minutes from church before Leyton was visualizing his next at bat.   {May 5}

Rylan's soccer cheering team!  {May 6}

With school winding down there has been so much activity from sports to school concerts, fun with friends, and just enjoying the beautiful weather!  I have lots of pictures to post in the coming days.  I has been crazy around here, but even with the craziness I am trying to remind myself that this chaos I will miss one day so I might as well enjoy these times while I can.

Everyday Joys {Week 17}

Here is our latest joys recap...

I think soccer fits this little guy pretty well.  He just keeps going and going….{April 23}

It's Fire Safety Week at Preschool. {April 24}

Future Player.  {April 25}

Oh Glorious Day.  {April 26}

Back at the fields to cheer on our first baseman Holden.  {April 27}

Call the talent scouts, this little 16 month old is ready to play ball.  {April 28}

It was a busy Tuesday around here.  Leyton kept me on my toes this afternoon scooting on his brothers old scooter.  My little sidekick loves being outside and I have to say, he is growing up way too fast.  {April 29}

Playing catch up with posting our Everyday Joys…more to come soon.

Play Ball!

Baseball season has begun for Rylan.  His team is comprised of most of his preschool buddies which means, he is having a ton of fun.

The first game was a hoot.  There were a couple of kids who ran to first base with the bat, a couple who did not know where to run when they got a hit and a couple of kids who actually understood what was going on.

Rylan played first and third base.  While he was playing those positions, he got 4, yes 4 OUTS!

Holden and Leyton were cheering on their brother.

Leyton has become a little obsessed with baseball especially his bat and ball.  They go everywhere with us!

Rylan's first game was a hit, no pun intended. Especially since his grandparents were able to come and watch him play.
