Batter up....
We have been in full swing with baseball this past month. Practices, games and so forth. Rylan starts next week so expect lots of cute pictures. Here is a little recap of this past week of baseball...
Funny how timing works out, Friday night Holden asked to pitch with Kevin and it was probably a good thing because on Saturday, his coach asked him to pitch!
This was Holden's first time pitching and did great and pitched two innings. He struck two batters out and allowed zero runs in both innings! Since I know taking pictures would be a distraction for Holden, I took pictures from a ways back but another mom took some great pictures and shared them with me, I'll post later.
Hopefully the next tournament I will capture some better ones.
If you are wondering what Rylan and Leyton do all weekend while we are at baseball games, here is a glimpse...Leyton will bat about 3000 times and snacks ALL day while Rylan has quickly become the unofficial bat boy for the team. Baseball is a family affair.
Holden's team went 4-0 and became Screaming Eagle Champs!
It was a pretty exciting weekend of baseball and do not worry, there is more to come!

Spring Concert {School}
It's that time of year...end of the school year activities. However, school does not end until June 12th here but the activities are in full swing. Thursday, the boys had their Spring concert. Don't they look so happy to take pictures?!
Well, Leyton wanted to jump in the middle so here you have our three boys all together.
Holden and Rylan's class performed several songs during the concert. Holden's class even played their recorders.
I wish I could have taken more pictures but at 7:00, Leyton is pretty much done so trying to keep him occupied and quiet is a job in itself. I keep reminding myself, this is just a stage in our life. So these blurred pictures and memories will have to do.
After the concert, we met up with some of the boys friends for ice cream. It was wild, it was crazy but they all had a blast. Now, the countdown to summer break has begun.

Visitors, Soccer, Baseball and more....
My inlaws made the long trip up to Wisconsin this past weekend. As usual, they came with a car packed full of stuff.
While they were here, there was lots of playing. Lacrosse, baseball, and nerf gun fights.
Since we moved into our house in November, we have no landscaping. Earlier in the week I bought a few roses and peonies to plant. Extra hands are always a huge help.
We still need add bushes, more roses and hopefully some hydrangeas. But it is a working progress since the weather here is so unpredictable.
Saturday we had a full day of soccer and baseball.
Sunday was more baseball and even after we got home the boys were playing baseball.
It was a quick trip for the grandparents but it was much enjoyed.

Baseball Season has begun.
Baseball season has begun! Holden's team started tournaments last weekend and it has been a full schedule since then. Before Holden's first game, I was able to talk him into a few pictures...after a few moments, he really got into "posing" for the camera.
The first game, Holden was full of nerves. I am not sure why but he was just nervous the entire game. Thankfully, the next day he was calm and played much better.
His team made it to the championship but ended up losing by one in an extra inning.
Last weekend, Kevin's parents were in town and let me tell you, they were troopers.
Sunday, it rained and rained! But they sat in the rain to see these boys pull off a four game win and ultimately the tournament.
It is going to be a busy couple of months with Holden's travel baseball, his rec baseball, Rylan's soccer, and Rylan's baseball but we would not have it any other way.
