Family day on the farm

Sunday the weather was absolutely beautiful here.  As we all know, this will not last long, so we are taking full advantage of it.

Early Sunday morning, we attended the Village Fire Department Annual Pancake Breakfast.  Holden's friends Dad is a volunteer fireman along with his football coach, so we made sure we attended the annual breakfast.  It was crowded but the breakfast was well run.  The boys ate, visited with friends and checked out the firetrucks.

Check out this little fireman.

Later that afternoon, we visited Schuster's Farm.

We watched pig races,

the boys rode the barrel train,

played in the corn,

played on the many playlets and slides and did lots of tire jumping.

We all rode on the tractor to pick out pumpkins and I do believe they all picked out winners.

Before calling it a day we chased these three through the corn maze.

It was a busy Sunday with pancakes and lots of fun on the farm.
