The Naked Chef
When the Holden and Rylan were younger they always loved baking cookies with me, especially Rylan. Now days, they still enjoy helping out but they had much rather lick the spoon or wait on warm cookies from the oven.
Last week, I pulling out all the ingredients to make cookies when Leyton pulled off all his clothes and asked for an apron to help. I am not sure why he needed to have all of his clothes off but it was pretty cute.
This little guy jumped right in to help add the brown sugar...and more brown sugar.
He mixed and when we needed the chocolate chips, he jumped right at the chance to carry it back.
Yes, baking with little ones is messy but fun. He was so proud and kept saying "I help" and "I do it".
Just like his brothers, he loved licking the mixer attachment.
Leyton helped scoop and add the cookies to the cookie pan and off to the oven we went.
Final product....lots of cookies and two excited boys after school!
We all have heard of the naked cowboy and now we have the naked baker.

Happy Halloween!
Halloween morning we woke up to rain, lots of rain. Not the forecast we were hoping for but thankfully once it was time to go Trick-or-Treating, the rain had stopped. Holden and Rylan had a couple of friends that joined us for Halloween night.
One we took a group picture, they were off and running.
Leyton was right in the middle of the fun running from house to house. This was the first year Leyton was really into Trick-or-Treating.
Holden and Rylan both took turns walking with him to the door to get candy and each time I think he was surprised he got treats.
The older boys were totally into getting as much candy as possible.
I enjoyed seeing all of the funny costumes especially this Captain Underpants.
It was hilarious! After lots of house visits and treats, we made our way back to the house for pizza with friends. Rylan and Leyton decided to ride in the wagon and lets just say, lots of lollipops were consumed on the way home.
Once we were home, the kids dumped all of their candy out to see who got the most. Hard to decide, they all got so much!
It was a fun filled Halloween night with friends, pizza and lots candy.
Happy Halloween!
