Instead of a big party this year, Holden opted for dinner out, chocolate cake and a friend to spend the night. This plan worked out perfectly. Holden's friend Luca came over and we went to the pool, had dinner, and ate cake. Just as our birthday boy wanted.
The next morning, everyone was up early begging to go fishing. I swear these boys could fish all day! So where do you think we went....fishing.
Leyton caught baby turtles while the others worked on their hand lining techniques.
All in all I have to say his 12th birthday was nothing exciting but just what he wanted, and that is all that matters.
