Dyeing Easter Eggs

I feel like the boys and I have not done much leading up to Easter.  Maybe it is because the weather has not been that great but with that said we did have a really nice day on Thursday.  While Leyton was napping on Thursday, I set the boys up with eggs to color.

This year I took the easy way out and got a egg dyeing kit.  These two had the best time creating the best color combinations.  It was an Eggtravaganza.

I should do this more often!  They loved just sitting, creating and talking.  Literally they were content for hours.

I bought another kit that made the eggs into pirates.  This was a huge hit.  Just look at their cute creations.

I feel a little bad not including Leyton but I just pictured a huge disaster.  I think next year he will be old enough for his own little memories of dyeing eggs but for this year it was just the older two.

Preschool Easter Egg Hunt

Rylan had his Easter party and egg hunt on Thursday.  His party was just for his class but we could come early to help with the Easter Egg Hunt.  Holden was on Spring Break this week so he went with us to help hide eggs.

Our wild man Rylan was all about finding the best eggs.

Holden helped count his eggs to make sure he got the right amount.

These two are so funny together.  This was the beginning of Easter activities for the weekend.

More Easter fun to come...

A Day at the Aquarium

Holden is off this week for Spring Break.  Rylan was off a couple of weeks ago, it makes planning activities a little difficult.  However, Rylan does not go to school on Mondays so I decided to take the boys to the Aquarium for the day.  Of course they were all thrilled about going.  We saw lots of very cool fish.

Leyton had the sweetest reactions to the fish especially the colored ones.  This little guy is the sweetest!

I tried to keep him in the stroller as long as possible since he is still a little dangerous on his feet.  Mainly because he tries to keep up with the older boys that his feet get to going so fast that his little body just can not keep up.  But I let him out and ran with him.  I will say there are times I just like to watch the boys as they discover new things.

Each one is so very different and thoughtful in their own way.  As we were going through one exhibit they were cleaning the glass and Leyton was mesmerized and just kept waving at the scuba diver.

Holden and Rylan love and I do mean loved petting the sand sharks while Leyton enjoyed the bigger sharks.

All in all it was a great visit, exhausting, but lots of fun.
