Annual New Years Kids Questions

Typically our dinner conversation is all over the place.   It is always interesting, to say the least.   As we were eating dinner on New Year's Day two years ago, Kevin and I came up with three questions to ask the kids.  We decided this would be our "Annual Kids Questions" that we would ask each boy the same questions at the beginning of each year.  We thought it would be fun to see how much each of the boys answers change from year to year depending on their age and as we move.  We also thought it would be neat to see if any of these dreams come true in the years to come.  So here we go with this years answers....

Where do you want to go to college? {We limited the list to Top 5 Colleges}

Holden {Age 12}: LSU, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M

Rylan {Age 9}:  Georgia, TCU, Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss

Leyton {Age 5}: Georgia, Colorado, Kentucky, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin

What do you want to be when you grow up?  {We limited this to Top 3}

Holden {Age 12}:  Sports Agent, Professional Athlete, and Lawyer

Rylan {Age 9}:  Veterinarian, Builder and Engineer

Leyton {Age 5}: Ninja, Professional Hockey Player and a Pilot

Where do you want to live? {Top 3 Places}

Holden {Age 12}:  Georgia, Florida and North Carolina

Rylan {Age 9}:  Las Vegas, Georgia and Florida

Leyton {Age 5}:  Colorado, Georgia and Ohio

Just looking back on last years list the boys have changed places to live and teams.  Some of this may have been to do with at the time we were watch bowl games but this is what they picked.  It will be interesting to see if any of these hold true for the next couple of years.

Christmas 2017 Recap

In a flash, Christmas has come and gone.  The boys did not get out of school until the 22nd and Kevin's family arrived the same day.

We have been so busy with sports and activities that I had not done our annual North Pole Breakfast but somehow I snuck it in and that is all that matters....

The weather was bitterly cold so we made the most of our time, we played cards,

decorated cookies,

went bowling, and even braved the cold and went ice skating on the pond.

Christmas Eve service was beautiful and as soon as we got home Leyton was in full swing getting cookies ready for Santa.

He may a snuck in a few for himself as well.  Christmas morning came early!

Leyton was so excited, he got a big boy bike and lots of toys.  Holden and Rylan received more electronics or whatever tweens are into these days.

All and all, it was a nice and fun Christmas for us all.  The boys went back to school on the 2nd and we have been in full force ever since.  Hence, the delay in posting pictures and blogging.  Hopefully, I will find a little more time this coming year or at least that is one of my New Year's Resolutions.  Here we go 2018....wishing for lots of love, laughter, adventures and happiness!
